Introduction to Workflow Area
Electronic and scanned documents such as Orders, Invoices, Contracts, etc. need to traverse through different stakeholders based on the predefined business processes in organizations. This can be automated using PaperSave Workflows by defining the steps and roles of various personnel involved in the process. You can add documents that you receive to the desired Workflows using check scanners, TWAIN compliant scanner, Fujitsu fi-NX scanner or upload electronic documents such as PDF's, TIFF's, etc. from your file explorer. Also, you can edit and review the document before submitting to a particular Workflow. You can have the documents traverse across organization using Workflow events to approve or reject the documents.
Workflow Area offers the following Key functionalities:
- Choose a Workflow from the list to access the Workflow items.
- Explore the Workflow items in the Workflow list for the selected Workflow.
- Quick Search the desired Workflow items using keywords.
- Sort and Filter the Workflow items in case of disproportionate number of items.
- Export the list of Workflow items to Microsoft Excel.
- Download and Share the Workflow items via email.
- Apply Grouping to the list of items.
- Mass Update fields for the list of Workflow items
- Resolve Corrupted items in the Workflow item list.
- RAISE WORKFLOW EVENTS to approve or reject the Workflow items or execute any other custom event.
- ACQUIRE DOCUMENTS using below file capture options
- Scan using TWAIN compliant scanner
- Scan using Fujitsu fi-NX series scanner
- Scan using Check Scanner
- Drag items or select the files to upload from the file explorer
- VALIDATE DOCUMENTS before you submit them to the Workflow.
- Annotate the document using various tools such as highlighter, pen, arrow, line, ellipse etc.
- Add pages, Split, Join and Rotate the pages for the unsubmitted items
- Review and edit the Profile fields
- Access the Unsubmitted Workflow items
- SUBMIT DOCUMENTS to the desired Workflow.
- VIEW DOCUMENTS in the Item viewer.
